Hi Muzza fished Frandy last friday for the first time, had a good day on a catch and release ticket boat(£12). conditions were ideal, light breeze and plenty of cloud cover, started on dries as there where a few fish rising but failed to get a hold of the few that rose to my flies, then changed to blobs on an intermediate with no joy at all, another change to snatchers and had a lot of fish following but not taking so put the cast of snatchers on the floater and that done the trick, returned 5 and lost and rose lots of fish, the most productive area was up towards the dam wall hope this helps and let me know how you do, got a couple of club outings at the start of next month tight lines

250 acres ,open, often windy high up in the hills.Great fishing.I have fished here on and off for years starting off when it was an all brownie water.Top of the water stuff dominates throughout the season.Petrol outboards are available to hire which is handy although i can remember when there were 2 boats available for hire and you had to row them.Fish are being caught all over the loch but the north shore and dam wall area is very good.

Think it shuts from late october till early march, web site is http://www.frandyfishery.com/ and has weekly reports but not a lot of detail.
