Thumbs down Mince

Was there today with Viva Eccose, was told it was fishing well but we were both very dissapointed.
Conditions didnt hetlp much ( flat calm and brigh Sun), the main problem was the green algae
It was like fishing in a dirty dub with big bits of green algae all over the water, and i mean alot of algae!
We had sport as did most boats but not exactly non stop action, looking in the returns book i saw around 6 full bags for 2 pages worth of reports!
The fish we had were all top quality and i think with a good wind the algae problem might get better.
Like you say i would be going deep and pulling if returning back but doubt i will be back this season
Viva Eccose is back this weekend i believe so intresting to hear if it gets any better [COLOR="Silver"]

that was a pretty hard day for me any way, scorcher of a day weather wise, but thems the breaks, hopfully sundays not so sunny, boobies, seem to be the way ahead, must admit i was surprized to see the nick of the water, pea soup. any how we still got fish and some cracking sport so musnt grumble, the fish were in good nick and scrapped well, good luck if your going ,you may well do better than maself but it wasnt for the lack of trying..,..

Our club was at Roscobie on Sunday 15 rods 57fish ,1 at 10lb 11oz 1at 7lb 4oz 1at6lb 5oz,Fish were caught all over on a wide selection of flys ,Crunchers, dia bach, hares ear then onto Blobs ,boobies Coral boobies and blobs did well and black and green cormorants,The water on Sunday was bad in areas but clearing in others drifting from the middle to green bank shore was the best drift ,the fish are hard fighting so don`t fish to light on your leaders

As a "lurker" of forums for a few months i seem to remember it was`t so long ago Bigtroot that you were singing the praises of Rescobie. This post sums up one of the biggest things in fishing that ****es me off,LOYALTY or rather the lack of it!!!So a water goes through a hard and difficult spell, not to stick by it and fish through it,giving it the support it needs,no turn your back on it and go somewhere you can bag up easier!! p.s. Thought your "mighty Janet" was the be all and end all on Rescobie???

White Knight,
Iam back on Rescobie tomorrow actually to give it another go as belive it or not i actually like the water , just dissapointed the algae has taken over.
Who are you anyway to question loyalty
I will fish where i want and dont need easy bag limits buddy
To many reports are **** lickers at least i report how i truely find a water and if i think its poor on the day i will say so
Go take your thoughts else wher
