The good lady wife and I spent a couple of really nice days last week based in Nairn. We ventured over to Auchnagaur last tuesday but as the gale force winds were uncomfortable, decided to leave it until the next day.

We did return the next day (Wednesday) had a couple of good hours fun but alas a dry net, but for £10, didn'y matter.

BONUS we returned yet again on Thursday and I caught my first ever Blue Trout 2 - 2 1/2 Lb of fighting machine, well worth the visit.

The staff were very accomodating and very friendly along with my fellow anglers, if your in the area pop in its well worth a couple of hours.

Thanks to all at Auchnagaur you made a good short break very good.

Stuart runs a very nice fishery and I would recommend it to anyone and do.he is a gem of a fella and very helpfull to his anglers and the reflection of the assistance from other anglers really responds from Stuart and the help he gives ,which passes on.Maybe there is a lesson for all here and One which I echo.A very nice place only in its second year and has a good following due to the respect shown to his anglers which is returned because of it.
