Default Alderneuk last night.....

Well what can i say.....SUPERB! Fish were rising from the second I arrived to the second i left.

I must of had dozens of rising fishing turn just at my flies. Understanding that i may of been missing due to too small or large of flie or the flies sitting too high in the water I changed to my old faithful orange bodied daddy. Within minutes i managed to stike into an immaculate Tiger trout which at a guestimate wold have been around the 4lb mark. The fight was intense but i managed to net it quickly (catch and release fish) to have a look at its stunning markings. Then set it back on its way using the net release technique.

I find it amazing watching these fish swim away taking gulps of air to adjust their swim bladders. Wullie said that is something inherited from the brook trout.

I highly recommend this fishery for some of the best fishing i have done!
