Hi all, it's been a great week at the fishery, apart from the torrential rain that is! Some fantastic top of the water sport all week, even in the wet, fish more than willing to come up for a well presented dry, even when the've not been showing, persevering with a big dry in the ripple like a sedgehog, daddie or deerhair sedge has got them rising, be prepared for some frustrating misses though!, great day had by Scott and Danny when they landed 14 to 5lb between them, all off the top, and countless fish turned and lost, some nice Tigers and a few Brownies to 4lb plus of the top as well, our end of summer comp, went well with top spot going to Dougie Inglis with 7 bows to 5lb and this stunning, near 4lb Tiger
Second spot went to Bruce Callander with 7 bows to 5lb 2oz, and 3rd place to Stevie Hanning with 6 bow's to 4lb 8oz, well done all, and a big thankyou to Mike Graham for the trophy. Get yourself down while this mild, wet spell continues, box of dries, floater, some back up diawl bach, pt nyphms and buzzers are all thats required, oh and check those knots, more than a few breakers this week, i'd strongly recommend no less than 6lb fluro, they really are going like stink at the minute, hope to see you guys soon, all the very best Wullie and Wilma.
