Default CARRON VALLEY Top Quality sport

Had a day on Carron today with fellow forum member changeboy.. Weather was wet and windy but the day started well with a couple of rainbows in quick time and a few small brownies. Changeboy then stole my thunder by landing a collossal bow every bit of 15Ibs, an absolute beast of a fish

I slowly went downhill after that only catching one more bow and a brownie but Mr Litster kept on catching rainbows and brownies by the dozen while i missed dropped or pulled out of at least 30 fish.

What a venue absolutely bursting with stunning wild brown trout in a beautiful setting. Well worth a visit and surely up there with Leven and the Lake.

a great day cheers to my boat partner for the gubbing and Fraser and eck for the banter.

The pic does it no justice , it was a huge fish and 5inches across the back, stuffed full of something as it belly was bursting.

Is that the Cabela's boat gear that changeboy is wearing? Any good?
