Question Lochore Meadows Fishery

Hi guys,

I saw on the assf website that this is a fishery, as my brother likes watersports i though i could fish it while he was doing his thing. I wonderd if you guys knew much about it or what the fishings like?

Cheers

this is a mixed method fishery from the bank and fly only from the boat,or at least it was when i last fished here several years ago. its about 250 acre or so and is a council run fishery.i havent heard much mentioned about it in recent seasons but,i can tell you it was allways a good boat venue and quite a popular competition water.

Yellowbelly's quite right mixed method from end of June, brilliant fishing early season but once the ground bait starts going in it kind of spoils the fly fishing but give it a try, the bank anglers cant get to all the loch and there are some cracking fish in the place.

Last time we fished it, there was only one small area, in the big bay, that was clear enough from weed to be able to fish it. It was a warm summer's evening so the winsurfers were out til late as well which restricted the fishing areas even more Don't know if things have changed or not - it was a few years ago.
