Default Venue near(ish) to Bridlington ??

Hi all - I'm getting married in Bridlington at the weekend (the other half hails from there), travelling up from Brum on Wednesday and thought I'd get a days fishing in on Thursday !

Can anyone recommend a good venue - I've seen the following online:

Wansford - looks a bit small and manmade
Starr Carr - looks ok, but I've seen a bad review online !
Allerthorpe - a bit too man-made for my liking

Struggling for any alternatives

A fussy git I know, but can anyone recommend a venue - prefer medium sized venues - not a fan of boats !! I have fished Mulberry Whin in the past (not a still water I know) but fancy a bit of rainbow bashing !!!!

Help, as always, much appreciated.

Paul

Thanks, Yes - I spotted Wykeham Lakes late last night - looks a good bet - think I'm going to give it a go.

Is it best to fish Trout Lake or Causeway Lake - can you fish both on one ticket?

Anyone fished it recently / any tips???

Paul
