Obviously July/August bank fishing isn't normally up to much, but i'm interested to hear of anyones' catches from the bank at rutland over the past couple of weeks.

I havent fished the bank for a couple of months, but I was talking to someone who fished Stockie Bay at the weekend and had 5 to Minkies and dries.

Thanks for that whitegoatie. I've heard stockie bay has produced a few fish of late too.Might have a look this evening if the winds right.

I've not been off the bank since the last day of July, but there were good fish in Stockie Bay then too. A mate of mine had a splendid Brownie a touch over 5lb from there last week on a white minkie, does seem to come on in the evening (if it's going to) apparently. Heard diddely all about anywhere else. Wind looks a bit exciting today, 40mph gusts forecast...
