nice web site, i understand that you have to make your venture financially viable, but the bait fishing would make me steer clear. good luck. jon mcmillan

hi there, the fly still dominates on the fishery as the bait angling is restricted to marked areas round the banks. they do not get to use the boats either. there is a large ammount of seasoned fly anglers now being able to bring a friend, son or grandson and let them watch a float while they can fish in peace. the buckfast boys are not permitted here mate.
colin.

I passed it on the way home the other day - as soon as my back is fixed enough to fish I'll be up for a visit.

Am I imagining things or did the water used to come right up to the road?

it was once alot bigger but the reserviors act ruined it along with plenty of other good waters. It still had some lovely wild brownies in it last year.....and one very big pike

Default your right mate

yup, the water was drained around 20-25 yrs ago because during the winter when it lapped onto the road it froze and caused chaos. glad your coming over, c u soon, colin. ps bring your buzzers and dries if your staying for night rise. black and green lures and cats whiskers when needed.

Like the website colin tells you all you need to know about the fishery.
Was fishing high dam on saturday evening caught a nice rainbow around 3 pound mark when fishing from boat, mostly brown trout caught on saturday which were being caught with lures which was a surprise as most brownies usually caught with traditional patterns.
