Default bangour fishery

hi guys, just had my first visit to bangour today.
got a 4 hour ticket, and though i only got one bow at 4lb to a wee dennis the menace 12 buzzer. got a few other takes as well.
just wanted to know some of your views on the place, cos although a didnt get more fish, a thought it was a very well run and tidy fishery.some of the other anglers wrote in the book that today was hard going. is this common up there.?
thanks in advance. YC

Hard going at this time of the year is expected and the norm. As for bangour in my opinion its the best run fishery in scotland and the finest small water we have , it sets the standard for all other venues. I have no ties to steve reid or Bangour but its a very nice place to be and by far the best kept water ive been too.

Very magnanimous of you Alex. Though from what I've heard it's one of the best run fisheries in Scotland.

Alex may be right but is being very modest about the trials of this time of year. I was up at Snypes the other night and it was fishing great, despite a near gale.

One guy got 23 on buzzers during the day while I bagged 9 later on.

Bangour is a first class fishery and Stevie keep the place immaculate. This is my first choice for hard fighting fish and there is always the chance of a biggie. The staff are only too glad to help anyone, follow the rules and you will have a great day.

THE perfect quote, FOLLOW THE RULES. If only everyone would read the rules at fisheries alot of fall outs and slanging matches could be avoided....
