Fishing went well this week with good catches reported and comments of how hard fish are fighting, made sport enjoyable for anglers.All lochs were fishing well including coarse and some sizable fish have been caught.Carl Longman on his 2nd outing landed a fish of just under 8lbs at 7lb 15ozs on a dawsons olive.Mark Morrison from lossie had a fish of 9lbs,mervin Meachie had a 5lb 13oz,Dennis Lindsay had a fish of 5lbs and Alan Hodgetts had a 4lb 4ozs fish.Ian Slater had a 6lb 5oz and Alec Simpson had a 6lb 12ozs fish.Plenty of fish have been taken off the top with cdc and dry fly and it has been the smaller flies doing best,David Reid had 15 on cdc,A Fraser on 25,Bill Murray on 11,George Downing on 14,Dave Leitch on 13,Liam Yule on 12,michael Hatswell on 12,Martin Jones on 17,Colin Gauld on 16,Doug Taylor on 14,Ian Bremner on 11 and Willie Petrie on 13.names are still being taken for the 3 man competition on 16th August where you can contact the fishery if interested.The coarse loch is fishing well and some good bags are being caught here.
