Has anybody fished Westlow Mere in congleton recently?

Any idea how its fishing at the moment? I was thinking of popping over for a session on Sunday...

Cheers

Hi Darren,

Apologies for the late reply if your fishing there today.

In answer to your question, I fished there about 2 to 3 weeks ago with my daughter and we had a reasonable day, with 7 or 8 fish, and a couple that slipped the hook.

The water was crystal clear with only a little weed in the margins, but patches starting to grow from the bottom in certain areas.

As it's a club water it is usually well stocked and everyone is very friendly, which reminds me, it's time to pay Westlow another visit!

Hope you had a good day!
