Thumbs up Haddockston House

Dont know if anyone has been there.
Small and secluded very peaceful, but have to say I hope Jackie does well as he has his anglers at heart and has made some nice improvements.
4 of us have fished it the last 2 Sundays, got there early and we have not been disappointed all taking fish but best of all some of the best quality fish I have come across and do they fight like demons.
Well worth a visit to this one.

It's situated a few hundred metres off the B789 halfway between Houston and Langbank in Renfrewshire. It's signposted on the left coming from Houston towards Langbank. I fished it a couple of years ago when I chanced upon it passing through that area and it is a picturesque little lake but the fish at that time were not of the best quality.

Thumbs up Glad you enjoyed

Please you enjoyed it, and agree with you the fish quality is awesome.
Everything in perspective Jackie is doing a great job and deserves a good turn.
Hopefully a little write up from Mike at the Sun over the next week or so will help Jackie to build up the business at the fishery.

Tight Lines to all

Wink The big dozen

Last day of my holiday's and i went fishing. Turns out the the best and cheapest day of the 2 weeks i had for a £10 c/r ticket i caught 12 hard fighting rainbows from both boat and shore, 2x6pds 2x5pds and the rest between 4 and 2 all caught with the one fly a hothead olive damsel. I have fished this water many times this year and caught fish but today was the best yet apart from the rain.
