Default Carron Valley

Just wondering if anyone has any news on how carron been fishing? Up there on saturday no news on web site since 5th July. Anything on areas etc most welcome. No reports either on how the masters is going most disapointing. Thought with the sun being involved we might get more information.

Its not been fishing too well, well thats the murmour around the area just now. 1 angling club weighed in 12 fish for 8 boats with the largest bag 4 most of the fish weighed were browns just on legal size. But that was a week ago.

Angry

Fishing went off a bit for a week or so during the thundery and unusual weather last week but back on now. Most guys tonight had at least their limit, some returning good catches as well. Best rod had 13, there was a 12 and an 8 and most others had their limit.

best flys tonight were orange blobs, white cat booby, octopussy and black hoppers.

Your right Frazer, the fishing has been very patchy all over in the last few weeks due to the thundery weather, even on the rivers to.
