hi there arrived at carron today to find the wind was too bad so the outing was cancelled me and silversedge alex cairnie decided to head to selmuir weather was very changeable sun and rain was a very good days fishing i only got 2 on the millenium bug nice fish fought well around the 2lb mark dropped a few too silversedge showed me how it should be done by bagging 5 and losing a few others all on the quill buzzer top guy and super angler now alex cairnie he also landed over 5 all on dries f-fly and grunters well casting 50yds he was always going to reach them selmuir has been just taken over fish are good quality just like to thank alex and joke and big wullie for a great days company thanks lads

my casting was nearer 60yards....

yep selmuir is one too watch and could become a cracking venue when the head of resident fish builds up, already a very nice setting with very good water quality and alot of potential.John and jake are doing a good job and hospitality was first class, I will be back again.

Thanks for coming over guys,alex i will get some food in next time,am looking forward to one of those pie's you sell,pity the weather was not great,i just just need to try and get a day off to fish harelaw,i will speak nice to old jake lol

Was at Selmuir yesterday with Alex and Woody had a good day hard going,but the fish were there if you worked for them.Grade a fish that fight like tigers and a lovely little setting,only downside was old Jakes coffee and he says he used to run a cafe.Hope you get plenty on those owls

lol, aint i glad i dont drink the stuff. only drink tea.
though it could be next year that i visit these waters.
brothers getting married this friday, then off on his honeymoon for a week then it depends when hes allowed out to play lol.
