Default Wychwood Truefly

Can anyone give their opinion fo the wychwood truefly? I am interested and have a budget it seems like a good rod for what I want. Can anyone Help?

Hi erm, and welcome to the forum.
I think most Wychwood tackle is great value for money.
I have a Truefly 9ft #5 3piece, it's very well put together, and seems well finished.
Also a very nice slim tube.
I haven't actually used the one I have yet, for various reasons, one being too much tackle.
But yes I think they are a good all round rod for any level of fisherman.

how would this rod compare with that of the snowbee diamond of the same spec??? I was really hoping for it to be better. Thanks!!

Hi erm
I used to love this rod but when a friend, (phil dixon) broke it whilst playing a fish i dont think much of it now. It could have just been the rod or just phil bullying it to much thinking he is cool. but apart from that i found it nice to cast with and easy to play fish if you dont bully them to much
