Fishing has picked up as temperatures dropped to a better level and some nice fish were about and caught.Best of them had to be by Gordon Simpson and Paul Bryson who both caught and returned wild Browns of 4lbs each.david Mitchell had a nice fish of 8lbs 7ozs closely followed by willie petrie with an 8lbs 5ozs fish.Gordon Nuttal and Ross mcfarlane both had fish upto 6lbs,George Downing had a 6lbs 5ozs fishAlan Hodgetts had a 4lb 3ozs.Fishing with buzzers ,yellow Sallys,Kate mclarens and Black pennels did best for quite a few anglers and Ronnie Smith had 20 and 19 on 2 outings,Bill Taylor had 18,peter Green had 40,Karen gillies 15,Julian land had 16,Chris Boyle had 12 as did Chris Johnstne.The lochs will close at 8pm on Saturday evening for preparation for the Snowbee challenge singles competition on Sunday anyone still interested just contact the fishery
