Default fishing at tweeddale millennium

It has been fishing terrific this year, but the last few weeks has been a bit of a challenge due to the very high temp. The water is very warm at the moment and trout just dont like these conditions maybe would be advisable to leave it for a few weeks to see if things cool down.

Question will the heavy rain help???

Im not to sure jim, but it will not do any harm. The only problem is the pools are not really very deep, and the hypersoil (base of the pools) also heats up, and because they are mostly sult they can hold the heat for a longer period of time. The other problem is stratifaction in the water levels, this can effect the feeding habits etc of the fish and invertabraits, etc.
