Default Drumclog fishery not the Regal fishery

Ok just a quick note to let you guys know was at drumclog today for a quick visit, its still work in progress but the guys there are working hard to get it up to scratch and hope to be finished end of September. If you can see by the on going work it should be a smart little fishery, not the biggest in the world but if jim is good to his word it will look good. he has invited me to come back down in the end of July to give it a go which i will do and let you all know how it fishes. you just have to remember this was just a field in November so i wish them all the best down there.

This is a great little fishery in the same area, we're a bit spoiled for choice now, a bit difficult for a rank novice like me but I still catch a few when I listen to the experienced guys, and the owner isn't backward in telling you whats getting the fish.

This place is a godsend for anyone in East Kilbride though I still have a few other favourites but not as near.

Like you say rab we are totally spoiled for choice with lots of fisheries near the east kilbride area.

Default Rainbow Fishery Drumclog

Just a note to say thanks to Jim Tam and kenny, Fished this new fishery recently and have read all the threads, it,s very easy to knock people down and we all have less money in our pocket, these guys have to make a living from running a small commercial fishery for the pleasure of other people, and i can assure you it is a very competitve business. I have fished competitions (i am talking serious competitve anglers and fishery managers who will not give you the time of day but will grab your well earned pounds) but I have yet to find a more helpfull team who will happily discuss flies and tactics,

Why dont you give it a go for yourself ? The fish are there, the team is working hard,
