Default Anyone got any Grafham Info please????

Hi all, I'm planning a day on Grafham on saturday. First boat trip there this season so any info would be really welcome. Hope it's fishing a bit better than Rutland at the moment!!!!

Thanks

My dad's been on Grafham 5 days - since last friday...the short answeris it's difficult !...2 or 3 fish is a good bag !

It seems there are 2 area's.....M and J buoy and diawls on a midge tip, fished almost static..

Or The Dam and Tower area.....Di-7 and red holo cormorants on the droppers, with a sparkler booby on the point...again fished slow and deep.

But this weather has changed and it's rained heavy here for the last 24 hours..the wind has also picked up to about 13mph... so the fish may comeupin the water and to the pull....if so i'd go for a di-5 sweep and blobs through the middle, with cormorants on the droppers...

either way it'll be tough

Spoke to Craig Barr who fished there last Saturday & Mark Sturgees who fished there Monday both said that due to the heat the fishing had gone off, however these cooler temperature were having these last few days may have helped improve matters, I would give the lodge a call & see what the water temp & catches the last few days have been like.
