The rangers are very helpful at llandeg, if it's heavy going or on form they'll give you an unbiased report - I generally ring before fishing there.

Red Tag

Llandeggy can be very difficult once the fish get on the pin fry. I fish there a lot and from opening day until the middle of June it fishes it's head off.

Mid June to early Sept, it's very tricky. As the previous poster stated, the fry bewitch the fish and they ignore everything.

Sept to the close can be fantastic as the fish sense Winter coming and pack weight on.

The rangers are indeed very reliable and always give you an honest account. Very reasonable prices too.
