With current high temperatures comes with it hotter water and tactics for fishing change accordingly.Also it is important that more care is taken when releasing fish back into the water and making sure they are fully revived before letting them go.The weeks fishing saw most fish caught in deeper water untill it cooled in the evening and fish came up on to the surface.Fish still were being caught ,although not in the numbers of recent months because of the heat but sport was decent for considering.Gogs Robertson had a total of 18 with his best at 5lb 15ozs,Young angler Craig Alexander had a very good day when he landed himself £100 for a tagged fish,Ketih Cryle had a 5lb 4oz fish,Dave Christie had 12,Brain Lightfoot had a 4lb 8oz,Pete Green had 21,Les Aitken had 16 with his best around 6lbs,Phil Bieske had 14,Chris McKenzie had a 5lb fish,Ross McFarlane had 10,Willie Petrie had 25 and Bob Alexander had 10 fish best at 4lb 8ozs.On the coarse ,Tony Hunt had a good day with his best a nice 6lb Carp,Zander Christie had a good bag of bream and carp with his best carp around 5/6lbs.matthew and Mike West had bags of bream and carp and all around 2lbs.B Christie returned back to the coarse Loch a nice
linear Carp of over 18lbs which he caught
on the fly in the small loch and led him a good dance for a while and was in excellent condition.Names are filling fast for the Snowbee Challenge Singles on the 19th July,anyone interested can place their names at the fishery for what should be a very good day with lunch,raffles and prizes.
