The Sportsfish place in Theale do a C&R option at £14 (may have gone up now).

Slightly further afield is Robinswood fishery at Frensham, which has various options: see http://www.fishcountryleisure.com/Welcome.htm

whatever you do, avoid sheephouse farm. there may be more miserable people around, but i've yet to meet one worse than the owner.

Reassuring to see someone else with the same opinion of Sheephouse as myself. (I was also put off going back there by the numbers of obviously diseased fish when I went there.)

As a season ticket holder at Sheephouse I have to agree, Rob seems to favour the gun toting fraternity, probably because he mainly sells guns and ammunition. Its not uncommon to have your ear drums shattered by gun fire, or be showered by shot gun pellets at Sheephouse.

Felix Farm is a real pig to find, if anyone knows the owner, tell him to put up a sign. The map on their new website is not worth diddley.
