Default sweethope

had a cracking evening session at sweethope loch last night, 8 bows 3 blues plus 2 browns. fish were boiling all over the place, the fish were all about 3lb, and the quality of them was excellent, some great runs, especially of the blues. the browns were all about the 1lb mark.
fish were caught all on dries, black hopper, sedges and daddy's were doing the trick. cant wait to go back.

Hi kev.

Do you still have to book a boat there, never fished it for a good while but after reading recent reports may give it a go soon.Did you fish the large or small?

Pedro.

Pedro, i turned up on sat. without booking and there was plenty of boats available, my advice would be to turn u at the start of the fishing times, as Rob often potters about between sessions,

p.s , dont ignore the bank fishing of the " big lake " i had a cracking time on satda, had five and missed loads !! fish are in cracking condition !

Bob

pedro, we booked our boats for afternoon and night sessions, but when we got there on saturday there were loads of boats available, i think it just depends if there is any club outings happening on the day, best bet is to phone up on the day.
