Now, Now

Lovely venue, not many boats so make sure you have one booked. Usually damsels at this time of year, or buzzers. Long drifts alongside the weed or even across the middle.

Top end if you like to anchor just off the weedbeds.

Thought this would have been packed out with opinions Dom!!

Oh well, i'll tell you what i know.

it's 100 acres, quite shallow, LOADS of weed around the edges and there are some huge pike!!

I've fished it alot over the years and one thing that always amazes me is how there is hardly ever an evening rise and the fish seem to switch off at about 2pm. It's weird!! I've tied up some small hears ear boobies that usually work a treat this time of year as they chase the damsels accross the surface. Dries work really well also. You'll catch on blobs and the like but on such a wonderfull water it never seems quite right.

Make sure you've cleaned your floater as you'll be using it for most of the weekend.

Will see you on sat, not sure if i'll be there on Sunday.
