Hi All, I am off to Girvan this weekend and I'd really like to fish Penwhapple Resevoir, I have hunted around on the net and tried all the numbers that I can find but to no avail. Can anyone tell me how to go about getting a permit / who to contact.

i was taking to my old father in law the day about it he was saying its a house you go to next to a farm will see if a can get any more info for you am gone next week somtime hopfully

Cheers that would be much appreciated. I called one of the numbers I got off the net and disturbed some old biddy which I dont like doing, makes me kinda reluctant to call the other number I managed to dig up.

father in law said you go buy the loch and come to a farm the cottage is next to it he cant remember the name of the farm. its a club water so members only on a sunday rules might have changed on the members only not sure or go in to girvan to the fishing shop thay might give you more info shop sits on left handside cant miss it dancers red headed damsels do well if a get any more info will let know hope this helps

You don't get the ticket from the farm past the loch any more. My brother was at the loch recently, i've tried to contact him but he's on holiday. If he gets back to me i'll post back!

phoned the cottage, the guy was really helpful,thing is i forget the number but will get it tomorrow at work.think its penkill cottage,,, tenner a day couple of boats available for an extra fiver pp
