My recent experiences of Esthwaite have been decent, fish coming to a variety of methods, looking at the weather forecast for this weekend I'd probably go for a DI3 with blobs and diawl bachs.
There are always plenty of fish within 200yds of the boathouse so you won't have to stray too far if you dont want.
