Default Selmuir Oppening Day Report

Me and george went to semuir the day for the opeener and i have to say the qualty of the fish are second to none and they fight like a bu**er.

Right away we got into fish on lures, then george changed to buzzers and got lots of takes on a black and lime and white buzzers he caught a good few of them to and losed loads including a 5lb blue. There were tons of fly life absolutly loads just flying about above the water the fish just wating for one to land and stay. And i got some on the dries aswell. Later i changed to indicator with 2 tone blob and got pulles every cast but i was just striking a bit premature then i changed to a fu under it and caught first cast. I tried the wesh witch first cast fish on. so i took it off as to not exceed my limit to early. Then i tried a lure i compleatly made up, i tried it somewhere else and it worked so to just make sure it wasent a one off i tried it at selmuir and lost one on it nad had lots of oulles and follows. I tried fishing comp flies for the last couple of hours and done fine with blobs and sparklers. George went back onto the lure to get a few fish at the end. We both ended up with our limit of 9 and dropped loads more, so great sport all day and we both had a few nice bows each of 3 - 3.5 lb.
Great fishery and really fun fishing today will be back.

Wish you all the best john and owners for the future.

Ali
