Question Tringford: Tring Reservoirs, Herts

I have walked around these reservoirs for a number of years and carp fished on Marsworth a few times, but never considered the trout fishing as it had some strange syndicate setup with nominated fishing days.

However, I understand that now it is under British Waterways control that day tickets are available and what seems like a reasonable season ticket.

I've never seen anyone fishing to ask any questions, although will go for another wander tonight.

Does anyone have any experience of this fishery? I was thinking of joining to spend an evening each week after work, so hopefully there will be an evening rise.

BR
Ben

I was actually looking at a house that bordered it last year. While we were looking at it, I saw plenty of fish caught. The move never came off but it was certainly an attraction.

My Daughter lives near the reservoir; so I, would be interested in some information re, season and day ticket fishing.
