Went last night from 6.30 - 8.30pm

Lots of fish splashing on the surface, not rising, had five - two on lures, 3 on a black cruncher. Not easy but plenty going on, two other pulls.

Will not be stocked again till October, but there will be a "coarse fly fishing ticket" available while the water is warmer.

However, when there's as many in front of me as there were last night, I expect to get a pull most chucks. The guy filling his return in when I arrived had blanked and I was having to chuck it 25 yards into a headwind to get to where the fish were
