Anyone been lately,any areas,flies etc working particularly well.Any reports would be appreciated as NWL reports are not that detailed.

Hi Pedro , ive fished Cowgreen many times , hit it right and you will have a great day , no monsters but lots of sport, walk and cast etc ... bibio, clan chief , goats toe , bensons bumble , all the usaul suspects will bring the natives to the fly,, watch the forecast if favourable go and enjoy , one of Northern Englands best kept secrets !

Probably still a wee bit early, but worth a go if it stays warm, I'd have thought.

After a few miscalculations last year, I now know not to bother leaving home if I can see a leaf stir in my back garden, as that'll mean it'll be blowing a force ten up there when I get there!

Just returned after a few hours up there and really enjoyed the day you right about the wind,will remember that for next time it was a bit rough to say the least.Took 8 fish between six and 10 inches my friend had just the 1 all on the floater mainly top dropper,half hog hopper pulled fast main fly although couple on spiders.Will be back to try and catch some dry fly sport i hope.
