Heard that the highdam in eaglesham has reopened can anyone confirm this

Thanks for that info alex suprised rumour was not true as came from a friend who used to fish their weekly.
Have a good chance of making it to your fishery this weekend alex.

high dam opened on sat 6th june, fly of the week is black tadpole. cdc in evening.

i passed and saw nothing, is this high dam off eaglesham moor?? is there a lodge / hut / caravan.

high dam was open years ago, you paid the farmer and cracked on, it was a good wee water but wild like harelaw in the winter. i caught a 7Ib bow from it years after it closed it was in stunning condition and the only one i ever caught after it closed minus the broonies. superb fly life if i remember .

Was this the one on the left hand side as you drive out of Eaglesham towards the Fenwick moors?..had a caravan parked at it i think.
