Hi there
Fishing Well, not easy in the bright lunchtime conditions. Loads of fish showing on the surface, (but not ralyy attacking a dry fly) and also a couple of areas holding new stockies in 50+ pods.
Ended up with 5 out on a 3 plus Catch and release ticket (was having a BBQ with family) and home by 5pm. all on Green this time. 1 on Green Buzzer and 2 on Green Nomad from Home water, all just over 2 1/2 pond mark and then popped over to rook and fished my usual bank, which was empty as the wind was gusting straight at it.
had two takes in two casts, losing both 6 to 8 ft in front of me. finally landed 2 in half an hour after that both bigger than the keepers, but thats life again on the green nomad.
One thing i defo noticed though is that the fish on Rook put up a much better account of themselves, i know they were slightly bigger but the fought much harder and a lot longer.
Is there a reason for this? as i can guess they are stocked from the same supplier and Rook is also much smaller than Home.
tight lines
