Ask Stupike on the Forum,
He is very knowledgeable and comes from Stranraer.
Glenquicken at Creetown is getting good reports.
Also Alderneuk fishery at Dumfries.

Default soulseat

left soulseat by 7 tonight the fish are hard on the buzzer early morning and round lunchtime, not much rising in the evenings so far but if you follow the swallows and the sandmartins they'll show you where to find the fish on the top, returning loads.

You could come down the A75 and try loch Ochiltree, It's fishing well just now. £15 a day 3 fish limit. Tickets from Galloway angling centre, Newton Stewart.
