Default Snypes Dam Neilston Trout Fishery

Had a good evening on the Snypes tonight took 10 fish on black buzzers .The facilities are limited at the moment , but Alex is working really hard and its starting to show , all of the fish averaged around 2.5/3.5 lbs , seen alot of bigger ones in the 5/10lb range nymphing but they proved to difficult! . Great fishery ,if you've not tried it i reccomend you do you will not be dissapointed

Cheers

Chris

Default snypes dam

Great catch Chris. The main thing in any fishery is the fish and as I found out recently Snypes has loads of them.

Fishing has been fairly hard this week but hundreds of fish rising freely at range to black buzzers, persistence is the only way just now.

Just a belated thanks from Potters Angling Club for recent outing on a hard day, but fish were caught and some good mended trout, these guys are trying hard and couldnt have been more helpful, giving out taking flies and none of the "Everywhere is fishing". Also guys gave club two bottles for best fish and bag & money to junior member, cant remember the last time we got something back from a fishery, Id recommend any club to give it a bash!
