i just phoned the snypes as a couple of us are going out fishing tomorrow and one is a bait fisherman only, the when i was speaking to them they said that they allow power bait , never know this place to allow you to fish power bait before, has it changed hands??

The Snypes has pretty much always been a mixed fishery. It seems to me that both sets of anglers get along fine with each other. I think that the ownership is still the same but the day to day stuff is done by Ziggy. Reports indicate that their is no shortage of fish in the water.

Threres always been bait fishing in the section on the right as you walk down from the car park towards the dam wall.

Well done Jim stiles on a stonking overwintered 13pounder returned along with half a dozen more.

Taken on a tiny black buzzer......

Snypes open weekends only.
