I haven't fished Farmoor 2 lately (- the fishing on Farmoor 1 has been too good to resist!) but the last time I fished it I did well using a floating line with a long leader of about 24 ft, with three leaded pheasant tail nymphs. You needed to fish well out though as I couldn't get a take close in, and the takes were fairly subtle so you had to concentrate hard!

I think the same technique will still work now as a mate of mine fished it on Friday using the same general method, and had four in a couple of hours. The water is gin clear at the moment, and apparently you still need to cast a fair way out in order to get the takes.

Best of luck,
Pete
