Default Red hot fishing!!!!

Red hot fishing for many anglers this week with alot of fish taken off the top where surface sport was at its prime and so early in the season,bodes well.Peter Green had 2 days of top fishing with 80 and 50 fish in 2 sessions best was a nice 7lb 8ozs fish..Karen Gillies had 45 and 31 fish again in 2 sessions.Her best was a cracking blue of 8lb 8ozs.Stevie Wright from fort william had a 35 fish haul,mark morrison had 27,George skinner and Andy Fraser had 26 fish apeice,Dave Christie had 32 fish with a 4lb 5ozs his best,jamie Sinclair enjoyed 23 fish,marc moss had 20,David Orr had 19,Graeme Murray had 18,Matthew desmond had 15,Bill Taylor had 13,barry Williamson had 12,John Bruce 12,Ian dick 12,Steve Prince 12, and on 10 fish was Allan Sinclair,and Derek costen.Eddie Harrigan had 14 fish with his best at 5lb 9ozs and Slater Scott had 38 fish with his best at 5lb 8ozs.Muddlers,suspender buzzers and buzzers were the best flies with fish very active.On the coarse loch Rob Brownfield had a really good day with 2 double figure carp,10 smaller ones and 3 in the 5to 6lbs range.Tony Hunt had 15 carp and 15 bream,Ian Clive also had carp and a few other fish in his short spell.Next coarse compy is 17th may. There will be a Singles competition on the fly loch on Sunday 3rd May starting at 9am.All are welcome to attend and will be in the main loch depending on numbers leaving the small loch available to other anglers.The compy will finish at 4.30pm.

It's the same storey where I used to spend a lot of time fishing, Lockwood has become a bit of a turn off of late.

I have to say it is true ,am I for it is another story but if the anglers are happy so be it.if they aint catching then we have the other side of the coin.The angler is good and catches alot elsewhere also and not just here.Horses for courses and some like it some dont,if anyone knows the middle ground and to keep every angler happy let me know or join the apprentice.

I know you was my friend ,I only report it but the lochs are fishing well and have been for months now and its been turned around since a change of management last october.have to say though that not everyone finds it easy.
