can't make it tomorrow Craig but if you do go then stay untill dark, the fish have been coming up for a late eve buzzer session. Look for them coming up any wind lanes, there were loads on fri eve.

Good luck

Had a walk round pitsford this afternoon and there were a few fish coming off the sailing club from the bank. Most of the boats seemed to be in the small half, presume they were catching but didnt stop to watch. Be interested in how you got on Craig as i have just renewed my season ticket and fancy a cast this week.

Fished Pitsford for a couple of hours tonight. Caught from North Farm Bay and later on from stone barn point. There was a reasonable evening rise with alot of fish rising only yards from the bank. they looked like cracking fish and were not easy. I only got one of the 'risers' on a small black CDC but caught earlier on an olive tailed Hares ear (olive lure basically).

If your heading our Carpmagic then try to speak with Nathan in the lodge. He's a top bloke and will tell you honestly where they have been catching from.

Cheers

Sorry carpmagic, only just noticed your question. If you went today i hope you got on ok. I went for an hour tonight and struggled. Waited for the eve rise but it just didn't really happen. Lots of anglers there but not alot caught. Need the east wind to bug*er off to get thing going again.

Cheers

No probs, i went anyway and had a fantastic evening with loads of fish rising. Caught early on buzzers then once the rise really got under way i switched to a team of crunchers and they really nailed the olive cruncher on the point. Its amazing how two areas of the a reservoir can be so different. I noticed there were loads of cars by the sailing club so i presume they were catching.
