I have fished Bellbrook recently and will be returning next month.
A good mix of lakes and tickets. Flys to use are GRHE, Damsel Nymph, PTN and Bloodworm.
I can recommend the fishery.

Stayed there for a week a few years ago.Ok place, small pools, plenty of small browns in the top pool by the caravan.
IMHO,Bratton Water and Blakewell are much better.

fished this place today and what a load of rubbish!!!!!! we payed to fish the pools that where supposed to be stocked with a minimum of 3lb plus!!! the first fish i took was just under 2lb the next fish my mate took was even smaller!!!! the water was really dirty and there was just no life there at all.Well after a hour of fishing we packed up and went to see the lady and asked for our money back which she did no probs! so i wont be returning there in the future. anyway we got back in the car and drove back to chew and had a great day there on the boat!

Blakewell has certainly improved under its newish owners, but it can be very hit and miss and the pools are very small.
I agree with Chub1 that you would get much better value at Bratton or especially Blakewell, and in both cases you will get a good basic stock fish wiht the chance of some superb bigger specimens.

Apologies for hijacking the thread but when did Blakewell get new owners?

I stopped fishing there about 18 months ago because the fish quality had declined so I would be interested to hear how it's doing under new owners.

As you say Bratton Water is well worth a visit.

Doh!!
Apologies to Blakewell. I meant to say that Bellbrook has newish owners.
Blakewell remains under the same very good management as always.

As i said earlier,we stayed at Bellbrook for a week a few years back,in the caravan by the top pool.We had hoped to do c/r,but the owner stopped it as he felt it was too warm, fair enough i suppose. However he was /appeared not best pleased that we wanted some sort of deal on tickets for the week as we were not prepared to fish there all day everyday. He reluctantly agreed to a reduced rate.Mind you,we did fill his freezer with fish from Exe Valley,Bratton,Blakewell and Wimbalball
