Harelaw today fished at its best. the bank fishing was superb and all anglers had great sport with only 3 blanks. Bobby quinn returned 10 on diawls and buzzers upto 6Ibs. eileen quinn returned 7.

jim watson from ayr bagged up as did his boat partner with some cracking fish. a dozen bank anglers in the pollok shore area were into fish all day on buzzers and mini lures.

an east wind didnt keep the fish off with action coming hard and fast all day.

The late afternoon saw fish moving all along the east shore and dam wall giving the guys plenty of targets. some huge browns were reported with 3 over 5 pounds which is a great start to the year.

Over 130 fish were caught today by 19 rods. several anglers reported being smashed again by savage takes.

I fished for a 2 -3 hours in the morning and returned a couple of fish, both hard fighting and in great condition. My first visit, but I'll certainly be back. Thanks, Alex.

me and my brother were really impressed with the look of your water today, and although we didn't get a chance to get into the action today ,their is one thing for certain ,and thats ,that we will be back as soon as possible mate .
