Default Halliford Mere 8/4/09

Chub1 and myself had a good day , i started alittle earlier than chub1 and was into fish almost striahgt away on buzzer and black damsel, but by 9.30 it went quiet, so we moved around and chub1 ended up on the point pulling fish with out me knowingI had 6 fish including 2 browns by beer time and chub1 had i think 7 and lost a few by 3pm, all hard fighting fin perfect fish, a tough day with the wind but fun one
The lake record has gone to a 11+lb bow this was not stocked at that weight but has fed well and got bigger naturally on the abundance of food at the mere, no idea how long the fish has been in the fishery , but he was in great nick well preportioned to, gone back alive and well and to be honest with you i dont htink hes the biggest to be had, but only time will tell Gaz
All fish caught came to black buzzer and black damsel
