Fished it for 4 hours C&R this afternoon, only 2 fish caught the whole time i was there and with approx 15 people fishing. Plenty of fish moving but just not taking. Into my last half hour after trying all the usual stuff ie buzzers, ptn, damsel etc i finally got a 3lb rainbow on a yellow dancer with a floating line. The other lad that caught one, got it on a millenium bug fished below an indicator..it was a 5lb beauty!
The new lodge is not finished yet but should be nice when its done.

I find it a hard place to fish myself,as you say plenty fish there to show,last time there i got one on a gold head buzzer.I know my work mate (you know who you are) swears by the booby

Reminds me of a story , if you fished it regularly , he used to give you a 2 fish ticket for free at christmas , whatever you caught you kept ( except broonies) . He used to stock a few goldies and he had a particular one he hand fed with bread next to hut , it was about 8lb . Had to happen , one of the boys hooked into his wee pet , got it to the net , at this point we all thought he was gonna remove hook and send it back . nope the priest came oot , right over the napper it went . Wee bill came running out the hut , you would have thought you had killed one of his own , guy was kicked off and banned , the rest of us were doubled up pi55ing ourselves..CLASSIC

4 of us paid our ticket and 5 minutes later got our money back and we left, not avery pleasant 5minutes wont repeat what was said......mad old *******..........

Hahaha, Thats fecken funny. I have fished a few times and know what hes like.

I was up 2 weeks ago and he was ok,he was quite chatty and pleasent must of had a few happy shandies.

The old boy was there today as it happens. When i arrived i asked how it was fishing..he replied "don`t know". I then asked when was the new lodge going to open..he replied "don`t know".
If it wasn`t for Buzzer Bob talking to me i would have probably got back in the car and drove off!
