Babbage, I did re-open , stocked and started a weed cut but I think it is best left until the weather turns. I am up dating the web site to keep people informed so keep an eye on the trout fishing page. If anyone fancies a look before they pay for a ticket let me know. Otherwise I will keep you posted. Blenheim early years seem to be cursed with major flooding ,dam works a deep freeze and record breaking summers. Roll on the final dam works due early 2012 and hope things become a bit more normal. It seems the fishery is shut until the 17th:

UK Trout fishing, fishing Oxfordshire and fishing lakes in the UK

Been a tricky year for them, weather wise, but I'm keen to wet a fly when they reopen.

Sorry all, been away for a few days and as I left in a hard freeze I thought it would be easier for all to close until I got back. The lake is running nice now but still not the levels that are normal for this year. Have been stocking throughout but the main stocks are due in soon. Graham

Well the stocking is in full swing now and although there is a slight colour to the water it is fairly clear. I had the chance to check the oxygen levels the other day and they were right up to 176%. The lake is slightly down on levels for the year but is flowing well. Graham
