Default Harelaw fishery
Superb day out at the Harelaw, plenty of good quality fish caught very close to the bank. I was getting them on a goldhead PTN, others were catching on crunchers and various lures. From the boat i caught with a cats whisker on a floating line, one one rainbow was 3-4lb and put up a great scrap.
Thanks to Alex for the company, the wee boat trip and for pulling a cats whisker out of my finger..it was right in past the barb..ouch!
Get yourself up to Harelaw, you won`t regret it!

Nice Pics and cracking looking fish,i live in Killie area so i might venture up there,looks pretty good.Are the boats for hire?

was up a run with the wife on sunday for a look .would like to come back up this saturday for a days fishing,hope the wind has died down a bit

most welcome, wind is always an issue but follow the wind and find the fish.

hopefully the weather will have settled again(fair weather fisherman face)or we will need a sail for a drogue,thanks for that alex, hope to be up on saturday,make a change from piking
