Hi Jim,it was mad on Saturday a total of 875 fish were caught!!!.Most on lures but quite a few on buzzers and nymph`s.The dam wall was very productive. It`s been a lot harder today but still plenty caught.Your`e best bet is to go on the dam wall about 20yds along from the overflow and fish a slow glass line or a floater and change your fly regular(cat`s,black fritz, nomad`s etc).

I would agree with Locky the dam wall was the most productive yesterday and today, yesterday the fish were a little deeper and a greys intermediate with various black lures was my most productive method.

Where as today the wind had eased slightly and the fish seemed to have risen in the water, a slow glass with a small cat or dawsons nomad worked for me today 8 browns and 8 rainbows including a fantastic 13 1/2lb rainbow which I returned.

Cheers guys.
Not fished there for a while. once early season where the fish followed the wind and then a winter session a few years later.. Looking forward to it now. Will let you know how we get on.

Well we had a decent day. The wind and the fact the place had been well flogged made things a bit harder..
Fish in the corner next to the overflow just like you said.Thanks. we could only cast 15/20 yards at best with the strong wind blowing in to our face. lots of takes though. it was so strong we only fished there for an hour.
Fish had also ran along the dam wall to the far corner and a few anglers were sqeezed in having some fun. Fish on the bank opp. the dam wall as well (where the concrete blocks are). Lost a good one and a small brownie there.

Cats whiskers, black flash, mini cats boobies, hares ear/white tail boobies did the damage for me. Even a small brown on suspender buzzer.
Floaters, intermediates and even fast sinkers (with boobies) used.

one of the boats anchored up about 50/60 yards from the overspill and must have had 40 fish. looked to be fishing the bung..

We both caught and returned about ten fish each and my bag was 3 for 7.5 lb.
