I got my first fish just where the old founds are from the old hut, then moved left along that bank catching my second just where it starts to narrow. There was a few big splashes just out of my casting range (not got much distance) then walked round to the pontoons but by that time i was just mucking about trying different tacticts like a big sedgehog with a wee nymph suspended below it but things had slowed down. till i packed up and then they started moving again, that was about 6.30ish, should of stayed on but the misses had summoned me to bring home a chippy for dinner and i was hank marvin & happy!!
