I have just registered, so just introducing myself and looking for advice regarding Elinor.

I'm keen to try Elinor next month for the first time and wondered how good the bank fishing is.Any tips or the approach would be most welcome.

Elinor is a fantastic fishery and the bank fishing is as good as anywhere. the place is simply stuffed with fish and they have a habbit of being very close to the bank at this time of year.

Your favorite method is sure to catch fish as lures and nymphs work equally as well. You may even get a few on the dries if this great weather continues!

I've always found the dam end the best but the fish are spread out right accross the lake so you can get away from the crowds if you so wish. Not a particularly deep lake so a floater is all you should need.
