JJO is on a distinguished road
Default Blagdon

Spent a day fishing Butcombe Stones and High bank yesterday. Plenty of fish about which were feeding hard on daphnia. A inter with an olive goldhead seemed to be the combo. Spooning the fish showed a few small buzzers in with the daphnia, but it wasn't till later on in the day that TonyR started picking fish up on Diawl Bachs despite some substantial hatches of largish black midges from earlier on. A couple of the trout had really nasty cormorant wounds. Great to to be back fishing at such a beautiful venue.
